In our spiritual growth one of the biggest lessons is to understand that our shadow is in relationship with our light, and our task is to understand and accept our shadow, even the hardest and most stubborn parts within us. The light within helps to melt the frozen parts in our hearts, and we get to embrace all that we are as long as we remember to honor both the light and the dark.
