2. Products & Pricing
All prices include 25% VAT.
Shipping costs are calculated separately at checkout based on the destination and product type.
3. Orders
Orders may be cancelled before they have been dispatched.
Once an order has been shipped, the return policy below applies.
4. Returns & Refunds
If you are a consumer within the European Union, you generally have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, unless an exception under applicable consumer protection law applies.
To qualify for a return:
The item must be unused and in its original condition.
The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs.
You must contact hello@maijarantalart.com within 14 days of receiving your order.
Refunds are processed after the returned item has been received and inspected.
Original artworks and prints that arrive damaged during shipping are covered separately under the Shipping Policy.
5. Original Artwork
Every original artwork includes a signed Certificate of Authenticity.
Please note that slight colour variations may occur due to differences in screen settings.
6. Shipping
All orders are carefully packaged and shipped from Finland using tracked shipping.
Shipping costs are added at checkout and are not included in the product price.
Estimated delivery times may vary depending on the destination, customs procedures, and local postal services.
Orders shipped outside the European Union may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, or other local fees. These charges are the responsibility of the buyer. For further information, please refer to the Shipping page.
7. Intellectual Property
All artwork, images, texts and other content on this website are the intellectual property of Maija Rantala unless otherwise stated.
The purchase of an artwork or print does not transfer copyright or reproduction rights. No content may be copied, reproduced, distributed, modified or used commercially without prior written permission.
8. Privacy
Personal information is collected only to process orders, communicate with customers, fulfil legal obligations and deliver purchased products.
Payments are processed securely through trusted third-party payment providers. Maija Rantala Art does not store or have access to your full payment information. Personal information is never sold to third parties.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, liability is limited to the purchase price of the product.
Maija Rantala Art is not responsible for delays or failure to fulfil obligations caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including customs procedures, postal disruptions, strikes, natural disasters or other force majeure events.
10. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws applicable to the business registration and mandatory consumer protection legislation. Where applicable, mandatory consumer protection laws in the customer's country of residence shall also apply.
